There are many walks and cycles easily accessible direct from the cottage so you don't have to get into your car.
The fully refurbished and very comfortable cottage is ideally situated for exploring beautiful Deeside, wider Aberdeenshire and the Grampian & Cairngorm Mountains as well as further afield. The picturesque local towns of Ballater and Braemar, along with many ancient castles, amazing golf courses and famous hills such as Lochnagar, and the Whisky Trail (around some of Scotland’s most famous distilleries) are all within easy reach.
The cottage is easily accessible yet set away from the main road so you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the local area. To ensure your comfort there is a cosy lounge and separate dining room, each with a wood burning stove, two large bedrooms (a super kingsize and a twin).
